Call of Duty: Warzone is a free standalone game featuring a Battle Royale mode and more It’s a huge download for those who don’t already have Modern Warfare installed onto their machines, but how much room do you need to make for Warzone? Here’s everything you need to know.
On PC, you’ll need to download Warzone from the Blizzard website and must have an active Battle.net account to do so. The install comes in at 175 GB on PC. Here are the required specs:
- Requires DirectX 12 compatible system
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit (SP1) or Windows 10 64-Bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 / GeForce GTX 1650 or Radeon HD 7950
- RAM: 8GB RAM
- HDD: 175GB HD space
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
PS4 players who own Modern Warfare are looking at between 18 and 23 GB to install Warzone. If you don’t have Modern Warfare installed, Warzone will clock in between 83 and 101 GB.
If you do own Modern Warfare, you’ll need to make room for a whopping 165 GB download after all is said and done.
If you’re on Xbox One, you’ll be looking at a similar install size as the PS4. For non-Modern Warfare owners, Warzone is around 97 GB. Again, if you own Modern Warfare, you’ll need an additional 18 – 23 GB of memory to run Warzone.
Keep in mind, the amount of memory required could grow over time, as updates are rolled out.
